Purchased two inexpensive dongles from other vendors , both failed. I bitt the bullet and spent the extra to purchase this “made for my bike” unit. Many on different Forums had stated “it was just like the cheap version in a fancy package “, it isn’t! This communicates via WiFi , making a much more stable and repeatable connection. So far, 6-8 weeks, it’s been rock solid. I have the unit linked to a iPhone 15.
Much more stable compared to a cable connection. Just start bike, and it works.

It takes too long for the mobile phone to connect to the motorcycle.
Thank you for your feedback. The dongle starts automatically as soon as the motorcycle’s system powers on and follows the normal CarPlay or Android Auto connection process. Connection time can vary depending on the phone, its Bluetooth/Wi-Fi status and how quickly it initializes CarPlay or Android Auto. The dongle itself does not intentionally delay the connection.
I was sceptic at first, but since usb cable was a nightmare i was willing to risk it for this price. Amazing. Thank you. This connects fast every time, and it works perfectly. And nothing is exposed to rain :) Best 80€ ever spent.
